Sameer Dholakia

As CEO, Sameer leads the company's overall strategy and is responsible for its execution. Sameer brings extensive experience in the enterprise software industry, having held key leadership roles in sales, business development, and product management. Prior to VMLogix, Sameer spent 12 years at Trilogy, Inc., a privately-held leading enterprise software firm based in Austin, Texas. Most recently, Sameer managed Trilogy's west coast operations in the U.S. He helped the company establish significant businesses in emerging product and vertical markets. During his tenure with the company, Sameer also served as VP of Alliances where he managed the organization responsible for developing Trilogy's strategic partnerships. He began his career with Trilogy in product management, leading the creation of the company's second major application business. Sameer received his bachelor and master's degree from Stanford University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Ravi Gururaj
Founder & CTO
VMLogix was founded by Ravi Gururaj who has over nineteen years of technology product development, management and marketing experience. Prior to VMLogix, Ravi was Managing Director of Trilogy E-Business Software Pvt. Ltd., the Bangalore based offshore development center of Trilogy Inc. of Austin, Texas. Previously, Ravi was Director, E-Commerce Initiatives at Trilogy, Inc., Austin and General Manager of UberWorks Inc., a Trilogy incubated universal wallet and shopping cart infrastructure software. He has also held senior product marketing roles at Dialogic Corporation (an Intel subsidiary), New Jersey and founded two software start-ups that designed and licensed reusable software components for application developers worldwide.
Ravi received an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was elected a Baker Scholar, and graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar in the Management and Technology (M&T) program, receiving a BSE in Computer Science & Engineering from the Moore School and a B.Sc. in Finance from the Wharton School.
Leandra Yanagawa
VP Worldwide Sales
As vice president of worldwide sales at VMLogix, Yanagawa is be responsible for leading direct and indirect sales efforts. For the past two years, she has acted as an executive advisor for several startup and venture capital projects focused on providing market assessment and defining sales strategies. Prior to this role, Yanagawa was vice president of inside sales for the EMC Software Division where she successfully rebuilt and developed an organization of more than 170 salespeople dedicated to prospecting, qualifying, closing, and renewing opportunities representing over $500 million in annual revenue. With more than 18 years of experience in software, hardware, and services, Yanagawa also has held senior field sales and management positions at Handspring, where she led a team that successfully launched major national retail and wireless carrier relationships for the Visor and Treo product lines.
Mark Pileski
VP Marketing
Having spent more than 10 years helping grow software companies, Mark brings a wealth of marketing experience to VMLogix. He was most recently director of corporate marketing for Novell, which he joined with the acquisition of PlateSpin. Mark joined PlateSpin in January 2005 as one of the founding members of the PlateSpin marketing team and built an award-winning group, recognized in 2007 with an International Business Award for Best Marketing Organization. While at PlateSpin, the company grew exponentially due in part to the demand generation and marketing activities led by Mark. Prior to PlateSpin, Pileski held marketing positions with a wide-range of technology companies including Cybermation, DataMirror Corporation, MGI Software Corporation, and Cedara Software. He received his MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and his BA in Anthropology/Archaeology from McMaster University.
